I have recently been given two video clips which show the band performing at Padstow on the 7th June. One clip is of the band playing 'Cruella De Vil' from 101 Dalmations and the second a calm hymn called 'Eventide'. However i have been notified by Freewebs (website host) that they are having technical problems with the video system and this will last for another two weeks, BUT...you can still view the videos on youtube by clicking on the picture:

21st June 2009 - WIN SECURED AT THE WEST OF ENGLAND BANDSMEN'S FESTIVAL AT BUGLE!
Yesterday the band was in attendance at the 85th annual contest at Bugle. The band played 2nd out of three and secured 83 marks giving us 1st and raising the band's morale considerably. To celebrate our win and in keeping with local tradition the band returned to Lostwithiel after the celebratory parade in Bugle and marched around the band's home town to show our trophy to our supporters. A great day was had by all and we look forward to returning next year with an even stronger band despite the present difficult times.
For the remarks made by the adjudicator Steven Mead, take a look at the Bugle Band Contest page...Click Here...
The band is getting larger with more and more places being filled but we are STILL looking for more players to play with us during the summer season and beyond. As with all bands, the majority of members have jobs and other commitments and at some engagements attendance can be low so we need any help we can get, so if you play with another band or if you are missing brass banding please, please contact us!
WE NEED YOU!
