Hi Guys
In light of the recent youth activity outside the band room. ie Anti Social Behaviour / vandalism
Can we ALL make an effort to report it to the local constabulary.
It just takes five minutes and is a local call just ring 08452 777 444.

St Dennis Band are in concert featuring the world renowned euphoniumn player David Childs BBC young musician of the year 2000 at the New Members Pavilion Royal Cornwall Showground Wadebridge on Sunday 23rd November at 7.30 p.m.

Hi Marc, Sadly Mervin Collins recently passed away after a lifetime with the Lostwithiel Silver/Town Band. He will be greatly missed by all i'm sure. Malcom, Arthur and Bernard Hicks still play with the band, and Jane Whitehead has recently joined the senior band as principal cornet. Would you happen to have any good memories or photos of the band while you was in it? Anything would be greatly appriciated. Contact the band using lostwithieltownband@fsmail.net.

I used to play in Lostwithiel Silver Band back in the late 70's. I remember the ruffs, satin striped trousers and blue jackets. I wonder how many members are still there. I can only remember a few, Malcolm, Arthur, and Bernie Hicks, Mervin Collins and Melville Parsons (I think). Sam, are you any relation to Tim and Jane ?
